Terms of service

1. Provider and service

The provider is Saldo Connecta, 2502. SaldoConnecta connects the customer’s Stripe account with their bexio accounting and creates entries from it according to rules set by the customer (account mapping, VAT codes, start date, automatic mode).

A dry run is available before every booking. Entries that fail a check are not written but presented to the customer for a decision.

SaldoConnecta does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice. The customer, where applicable together with their fiduciary, is responsible for the correctness of the bookkeeping, the VAT return and the account mapping.

2. Account

The customer provides truthful information, keeps credentials secret and informs us of suspected misuse. An account belongs to one company; further users can be invited.

3. Free period and prices

Every new account may use the service free of charge for 2 months from registration without providing a payment method. Afterwards the customer chooses a plan; without a choice nothing is charged and automatic booking stops. Data remains available for export.

The plans cost Basic CHF 9.90 and Pro CHF 19.90 per month incl. 8.1 % VAT, payable monthly in advance by card through Stripe. Price changes are announced by e-mail at least 30 days in advance and apply from the next billing period.

Discounts promised when registering interest in an upcoming feature apply to the first year of the relevant plan and are redeemed as a coupon code.

4. Term and termination

Plans run monthly and can be cancelled at any time with effect at the end of the current period. The customer can delete the account with all data at any time. We may suspend or terminate the account in case of a serious breach of these terms or payment arrears of more than 30 days.

5. Customer obligations

The customer sets up the account mapping and VAT codes and checks them before switching on automatic mode. The customer ensures they are entitled to connect the Stripe and bexio accounts and does not use the service for unlawful purposes.

6. Availability and changes

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee it. The current operating status is shown on the status page. Maintenance is announced in advance where possible. We develop the service further and may change features as long as its essential purpose is preserved.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, liability for slight negligence, indirect damage and lost profit is excluded. We are not liable for outages or errors of Stripe, bexio or other third-party systems. Otherwise liability is limited to the fees paid by the customer in the last twelve months. Liability for intent and gross negligence remains unaffected.

8. Data protection

Our privacy policy applies. The processing of personal data on behalf of the customer is governed by the data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms.

9. Intellectual property

Software, design and content of SaldoConnecta remain the property of the provider. The customer receives a non-transferable right of use for the duration of the contract. The entries generated by the service belong to the customer.

10. Changes to these terms

Changes are communicated by e-mail or in the application at least 30 days before they take effect. If the customer does not object before that date, the new terms apply; otherwise either party may terminate with effect on that date.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Place of jurisdiction is the seat of Saldo Connecta in 2502, subject to mandatory venues.

In case of discrepancies between language versions the German version prevails.
